Artwork description
A cafe alley at night, lit yellow: a large awning stretches from the cafe on the left over several small round tables and bentwood chairs, and warm light from the big window spreads across the cobblestones. Tall houses in ochre and blue-green line the street, with lit windows, a potted plant by a brown door on the right and a deep blue sky with stars above.
The cobblestones are drawn as wavy dark blue lines over yellow and gold, and the strokes are short and thick throughout, in a Post-Impressionist manner.
You can order the Fine Art Print of this image, or the painting, which is hand-painted in oil on canvas in the workshop and made to order in 2 to 4 weeks. Sizes go from 30 x 35 cm to 150 x 176 cm in ten portrait formats.
