One painting can carry a small room

La Botica, a bar and cafe in France, ordered a single painting. It wrote: "I chose it to be the fourth guest at the table — silent, but impossible to ignore." In the project image the painting hangs in a gold frame above a small round table and wooden chairs, against a blue and white tiled wall.

In a small room one wall can be enough. One painting over the corner table is a valid order.

Subjects that suit a bar or a cafe

La Botica chose a scene of men drinking at a table, a Van Gogh reproduction from the catalog. Sol y Limón, a bar and restaurant in Spain (see the restaurants page), chose a lime margarita still life for one wall.

Sizes, frames and delivery

Each painting lists its sizes on its page. The width and height of the wall beside the counter or behind the tables tell you which size to pick. A painting can ship rolled in a tube, stretched on a frame or framed; the choice and its price are on the painting page. Shipping is free express worldwide by UPS or DHL, in 5 to 7 business days once it ships.

Ordering for more than one location

If you run more than one cafe or bar, send one brief that lists each location, its walls and the number of paintings. Price and timeline are confirmed in your quote, and nothing is charged before you agree to it.

How an order works

  1. Send your brief. Photos of the walls, the number of paintings, rough sizes or wall dimensions, a budget range and the date you are working toward. A phone photo of the room is enough to start.
  2. Get one quote for the list. It gives the price for the whole order. The price and timeline are confirmed in your quote, and nothing is charged before you agree to it.
  3. Your paintings are hand-painted. A painting is hand-painted in oil on canvas by a painter in our workshop. One painting takes 2 to 4 weeks; for a larger order the timeline comes with your quote.
  4. You see photographs first. You see the finished paintings in photographs before they leave the studio.
  5. They ship free. Free express shipping worldwide by UPS or DHL, delivered in 5 to 7 business days once it ships. Choose rolled in a tube, stretched on a frame or framed.
  6. You have 30 days. Return within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
