A rural village in Vietnam spreads across this rice field scene. Low houses with brown roofs sit among the yellow-green rice, and a broad tree with a thick trunk shades the left side. A stream curves in from the lower left, crossed by a small wooden bridge with a boat beside it. On the right a red flag with a yellow star stands above the roofs, a few small people are out in the fields, and blue mountains close the horizon under big white clouds.
This painting is hand-painted in oil on canvas and made to order.
