Artwork description
Sailboats on the Nile at Cairo: a large wooden boat with a tall mast and tan sails sits in the middle of a wide, calm river, and smaller sailboats lie farther out on both sides. Their hulls are reflected in soft ripples, and flat stones line the near shore.
Pale houses and green trees stand along the far bank under a pink and lavender sky with long clouds. The strokes are smooth and the colors are soft, mostly cream, blue and rose.
Your order starts the work: a painter in the workshop hand-paints the river scene in oil on canvas, and since it is made to order you wait 2 to 4 weeks. The sizes cover ten landscape formats, 40 x 30 cm to 202 x 150 cm. A Fine Art Print is also printed in these formats, and it is never hand-painted. Photographs of details, such as the sails, come on request through the contact page.

This company goes above and beyond. We are thrilled with out oversized two painting reproductions for many reasons: First, they both look great! Second, Lucas gave us pictures of both paintings while they were being painted and at the end. This gave us the opportunity to change some things (even different from the originals, according to our wishes). Pictures of the final paintings were again sent to us for approval before shipping. This is the best reproduction company we have ever hired and I will hire them again in a heartbeat!

Incredible work and magnificent paintings. I ordered three more paintings to have repainted, and they were simply PERFECT!
The paintings are on display in my Blizzard Museum, and I'll be ordering more within the year!
The prices are also excellent for the work offered! (For a 1.20m x 90cm canvas, in France, a painter charges over €1,500....)
Thanks again! See you soon :)
