Artwork description
Neon lights fill Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo at night in this painting. A tall red tower rises on the left, a glowing sign reading SHIBUYA hangs high on the right, and a TOKYO sign shines from a building farther down the street. Streaks of white, orange and red light run across the road and over the crosswalk stripes, and two street lamps rise along the road. Deep blues in the clouded, starry sky set off the warm orange and red of the signs.
A painter in the workshop hand-paints this scene in oil on canvas after you place the order, so each one is made to order and takes 2 to 4 weeks. The same image is also sold as a Fine Art Print, which is never hand-painted. The smallest size is 45 x 30 cm and the largest 225 x 150 cm. This company goes above and beyond. We are thrilled with out oversized two painting reproductions for many reasons: First, they both look great! Second, Lucas gave us pictures of both paintings while they were being painted and at the end. This gave us the opportunity to change some things (even different from the originals, according to our wishes). Pictures of the final paintings were again sent to us for approval before shipping.
