Artwork description

Hopeful Expression shows a Syrian calligrapher looking straight out of the canvas, a man with a red-brown beard in a cream hat with a dark blue band, an olive jacket, a blue tie and a red-edged collar. Both hands hold a slim pen-like tool with a blue tip near his chest.

The background is a field of blue swirls, and the face and hands are warm orange and pink against it. Thick, curling strokes inspired by Van Gogh follow the folds of the jacket in green and brown.

The workshop hand-paints this portrait in oil on canvas once your order is in, made to order in 2 to 4 weeks. The Fine Art Print gives you the same image in the same sizes. Ten portrait sizes are listed, from 30 x 40 cm to 150 x 202 cm.

Awesome painting

Really detailed and creative paintings that you don't see a lot of from these subject areas, particularly video games

Excellent artist, asks if you are happy with the finished product, and easy to agree with.

This company goes above and beyond. We are thrilled with out oversized two painting reproductions for many reasons: First, they both look great! Second, Lucas gave us pictures of both paintings while they were being painted and at the end. This gave us the opportunity to change some things (even different from the originals, according to our wishes). Pictures of the final paintings were again sent to us for approval before shipping. This is the best reproduction company we have ever hired and I will hire them again in a heartbeat!

Incredible work and magnificent paintings. I ordered three more paintings to have repainted, and they were simply PERFECT!

The paintings are on display in my Blizzard Museum, and I'll be ordering more within the year!

The prices are also excellent for the work offered! (For a 1.20m x 90cm canvas, in France, a painter charges over €1,500....)

Thanks again! See you soon :)
