Artwork description
A winter battle scene unfolds on a snowy road at the edge of a pine forest. At the left a cannon with a green wheel carriage stands near an explosion that throws up dark smoke, while riders on horses press around two covered wagons with pale canvas tops. A fallen horse and soldiers lie on the snow in the foreground.
Heavy gray storm clouds fill the sky, with a break of pale pink light at the upper left, and dark pines stand behind the wagons. Blue and red uniforms stand out against the brown-gray snow and smoke.
Detail photographs of the crowded middle of the scene are available on request through the contact page. In ten landscape sizes, from 39 x 30 cm to 193 x 150 cm, it is painted by hand in oil on canvas in the workshop, made to order in 2 to 4 weeks, and the same image is also sold as a Fine Art Print.

What our customers say
Verified reviews from our Trustpilot profile
Excellent artist, asks if you are happy with the finished product, and easy to agree with.

This company goes above and beyond. We are thrilled with out oversized two painting reproductions for many reasons: First, they both look great! Second, Lucas gave us pictures of both paintings while they were being painted and at the end. This gave us the opportunity to change some things (even different from the originals, according to our wishes). Pictures of the final paintings were again sent to us for approval before shipping. This is the best reproduction company we have ever hired and I will hire them again in a heartbeat!

Incredible work and magnificent paintings. I ordered three more paintings to have repainted, and they were simply PERFECT!
The paintings are on display in my Blizzard Museum, and I'll be ordering more within the year!
The prices are also excellent for the work offered! (For a 1.20m x 90cm canvas, in France, a painter charges over €1,500....)
Thanks again! See you soon :)
