Artwork description
Belizean Palapa Night centers on a round thatched palapa roof held up by one pole, with a black kettle grill beneath it and a string of round bulbs looping across the sky. A pale yellow moon and white clouds sit in deep blue, palm trees lean in from both sides, and a turquoise sea runs along the horizon. A bistro table stands at the left and a folding chair at the right on yellow-ochre sand, with a smaller palapa further back. Curling strokes in the sky and short dashes in the sand follow the style of Van Gogh.
The workshop starts only when your order arrives. A painter there hand-paints it in oil on canvas over 2 to 4 weeks, depending on size, so it is made to order. The same image is also sold as a Fine Art Print. Nobody paints that one by hand: it is printed in 2 to 4 business days. Ten portrait sizes start at 30 x 35 cm and reach 150 x 176 cm. Rolled in a tube, stretched on a frame or framed, you pick on the product page.
