Artwork description

This painting is fan art of Tintin in China (The Blue Lotus), an independent tribute with no connection to the comic's publisher. Tintin wears a yellow shirt and a red tie and stirs a blue cup beside a blue teapot and a sugar bowl on a red tray, while the white dog Snowy looks on from behind the table edge.

Behind them a window shows dark bamboo on a blue ground, a face watches from its corner, and a blue and white vase with a cloud pattern stands at the left. The colors are flat and the outlines black and bold, in the manner of the comics.

Hand-painted in oil on canvas and made to order, it takes 2 to 4 weeks, and a Fine Art Print is offered too. Ten portrait sizes sit between 30 x 39 cm and 150 x 196 cm. Detail photographs are sent on request through the contact page.

Awesome painting

Really detailed and creative paintings that you don't see a lot of from these subject areas, particularly video games

Excellent artist, asks if you are happy with the finished product, and easy to agree with.

This company goes above and beyond. We are thrilled with out oversized two painting reproductions for many reasons: First, they both look great! Second, Lucas gave us pictures of both paintings while they were being painted and at the end. This gave us the opportunity to change some things (even different from the originals, according to our wishes). Pictures of the final paintings were again sent to us for approval before shipping. This is the best reproduction company we have ever hired and I will hire them again in a heartbeat!

Incredible work and magnificent paintings. I ordered three more paintings to have repainted, and they were simply PERFECT!

The paintings are on display in my Blizzard Museum, and I'll be ordering more within the year!

The prices are also excellent for the work offered! (For a 1.20m x 90cm canvas, in France, a painter charges over €1,500....)

Thanks again! See you soon :)
