Artwork description

Tintin Prisoners of the Sun is fan art, an unofficial tribute to the Tintin album of that name, made without any link to its creators or publisher. The painting follows the cover design: a yellow title panel with black capitals runs across the top, and below it Tintin in a blue sweater and orange trousers leans in beside Captain Haddock in a black coat and cap, a boy in a red cap and green trousers at the right, and Snowy the white dog in front. Between them two figures bound in rope wear feathered headdresses before a wall of cut stone blocks, framed by rough dark green rocks. The colors are flat and clean, as in a comic.

Pick from ten portrait sizes, 30 x 41 cm to 150 x 205 cm; the painting is then hand-painted in oil on canvas by a painter in the workshop, made to order over 2 to 4 weeks. A Fine Art Print is available in those sizes and is never hand-painted.

Awesome painting

Really detailed and creative paintings that you don't see a lot of from these subject areas, particularly video games

Excellent artist, asks if you are happy with the finished product, and easy to agree with.

This company goes above and beyond. We are thrilled with out oversized two painting reproductions for many reasons: First, they both look great! Second, Lucas gave us pictures of both paintings while they were being painted and at the end. This gave us the opportunity to change some things (even different from the originals, according to our wishes). Pictures of the final paintings were again sent to us for approval before shipping. This is the best reproduction company we have ever hired and I will hire them again in a heartbeat!

Incredible work and magnificent paintings. I ordered three more paintings to have repainted, and they were simply PERFECT!

The paintings are on display in my Blizzard Museum, and I'll be ordering more within the year!

The prices are also excellent for the work offered! (For a 1.20m x 90cm canvas, in France, a painter charges over €1,500....)

Thanks again! See you soon :)
