Artwork description
This is fan art of Tintin and Snowy on the cover of the Tintin album The Shooting Star by Hergé, a painted copy of that cover with no connection to the album's publisher. Tintin wears a yellow sweater with a dark fur collar, red-brown trousers and black boots, and stands on pink-brown rocks beside a flat pale sea with one hand at his face and sweat drops flying. Snowy, the small white dog, leans away at his feet. Behind them a white stalk carries a red-spotted cap taller than Tintin himself. The outlines are black, the colors are laid flat, and the cover lettering runs across the top of the canvas.
Each painting is hand-painted in oil on canvas by a painter in our workshop, who starts once your order comes in, and it takes 2 to 4 weeks. If you would rather have a print, this cover is also made as a Fine Art Print, ready in 2 to 4 business days. There are ten portrait sizes, from 30 x 41 cm up to 150 x 204 cm.
