Artwork description
This painting shows Barad-dûr and Mount Doom in Mordor, from The Lord of the Rings, and it is fan art, painted by the workshop with no connection to the rights holders. A tall black tower with jagged spires stands on the left, a red-orange glow burning at its peak. On the right Mount Doom erupts, lava running down its dark cone and a plume of smoke streaming into the clouds. A thin red stream of lava winds across the foreground, and heavy gray and orange clouds fill the sky. The paint is thick and dabbed on, which gives the clouds and the dark ground a rough surface.
A workshop painter hand-paints the picture in oil on canvas once you order it; made to order, it takes 2 to 4 weeks. The Fine Art Print option uses the same image and sizes. The largest is 225 x 150 cm and the smallest 45 x 30 cm, ten sizes in all. Shipping is free and express worldwide, by UPS or DHL.
