Artwork description

Quail eggs fill a woven nest of golden straw, painted in the style of Van Gogh with thick, curving strokes in the teal surface below. The shells are speckled in cream, gray, tan, pale blue and yellow, and the wall behind is a patchwork of pink and cream. The nest itself is drawn tightly, strand by strand, with a dark blue shadow tucked under its rim.

You get a painting made by hand in oil on canvas by a workshop painter, after the order is placed: made to order, 2 to 4 weeks depending on size and complexity. Ten portrait sizes go from 30 x 35 cm to 150 x 176 cm. The same image is also sold as a Fine Art Print, made in 2 to 4 business days. It is never hand-painted.
