Artwork description
Two Russian women in folk attire stand close together against a pale wall. The one at left wears a white headscarf, a lilac blouse and a pink apron dress tied with a green and blue cord, with a bead necklace at her throat. The other wears a red patterned scarf and a lilac pinafore, a coral sleeve showing under a white cloth that hangs over her arm, and holds a small bunch of blue flowers. Loose strokes of pink, lilac and cream build the skirts, and the faces are painted in warm, soft tones.
A painter in the workshop starts the canvas once you order: it is hand-painted in oil, made to order, and takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on size. The Fine Art Print is the second way to own the image, in the same sizes. There are ten portrait sizes, from 30 x 50 cm to 150 x 249 cm. This company goes above and beyond. We are thrilled with out oversized two painting reproductions for many reasons: First, they both look great! Second, Lucas gave us pictures of both paintings while they were being painted and at the end. This gave us the opportunity to change some things (even different from the originals, according to our wishes). Pictures of the final paintings were again sent to us for approval before shipping.
