Sima Qian and the Records of the Grand Historian
Artwork description
Sima Qian, the Chinese historian behind the Records of the Grand Historian, is the subject of this wide landscape-format scene. A figure in a pale robe sits at the center of a dense crowd of men in dark robes, and a horse stands at the right. Tall dry grass fills the foreground, and a tiered roofed tower rises behind the group against brown hills and a gray sky. The brushwork is loose and visible, with figures that dissolve into the grass at the edges, in an impressionist manner.
Shipping is free by UPS or DHL express, and the parcel arrives 5 to 7 business days after it ships. Once you order, a workshop painter starts the hand-painted work in oil on canvas; it is made to order and takes 2 to 4 weeks. There is also a Fine Art Print of the same image. Ten sizes are on offer in a long landscape shape, 58 x 30 cm at the smallest and 291 x 150 cm at the largest.

The paintings are on display in my Blizzard Museum, and I'll be ordering more within the year!
The prices are also excellent for the work offered! (For a 1.20m x 90cm canvas, in France, a painter charges over €1,500....)
