Artwork description

This portrait shows the scholar Shen Kuo of the Dream Pool Essays standing at the center in a red-orange robe and black cap, an open book in his hand. Around him assistants work at tables and on a stair, a large ring-shaped wheel rises behind his head, and stacks of books lie in the lower left. A tall weathered scholar's rock stands at the right, next to a scroll of Chinese characters, the title of the Dream Pool Essays. It is a detailed illustration-style scene in flat color and fine line.

From order to finished canvas, a painter in our workshop hand-paints this scene in oil on canvas, made to order in 2 to 4 weeks. The wide landscape format has ten sizes, 60 x 30 cm to 302 x 150 cm. The same image is also a Fine Art Print, and you pick rolled, stretched or framed on the product page.

Awesome painting

Really detailed and creative paintings that you don't see a lot of from these subject areas, particularly video games

Excellent artist, asks if you are happy with the finished product, and easy to agree with.

This company goes above and beyond. We are thrilled with out oversized two painting reproductions for many reasons: First, they both look great! Second, Lucas gave us pictures of both paintings while they were being painted and at the end. This gave us the opportunity to change some things (even different from the originals, according to our wishes). Pictures of the final paintings were again sent to us for approval before shipping. This is the best reproduction company we have ever hired and I will hire them again in a heartbeat!

Incredible work and magnificent paintings. I ordered three more paintings to have repainted, and they were simply PERFECT!

The paintings are on display in my Blizzard Museum, and I'll be ordering more within the year!

The prices are also excellent for the work offered! (For a 1.20m x 90cm canvas, in France, a painter charges over €1,500....)

Thanks again! See you soon :)
