Christmas Celebration by Lovis Corinth
Artwork description
Christmas Celebration by Lovis Corinth, dated 1913, shows a woman with long blonde hair in a dark patterned dress, a figure seen from behind and two children in white in front of a tall tree lit with candles and hung with red and white ornaments. The floor is red, the wall behind is orange-yellow, and a blue-and-white railing crosses the middle. Loose, quick strokes leave the faces and clothes as patches of color.
The painting is hand-painted in oil on canvas by a painter in the workshop once your order comes in, made to order in 2 to 4 weeks, and detail photographs can be requested through the contact page. The Fine Art Print of the image is made in 2 to 4 business days and is never hand-painted. Sizes span ten portrait formats, 30 x 45 cm to 150 x 225 cm.

The paintings are on display in my Blizzard Museum, and I'll be ordering more within the year!
The prices are also excellent for the work offered! (For a 1.20m x 90cm canvas, in France, a painter charges over €1,500....)
