Liberty Leading the People by Delacroix
Artwork description
This is a hand-painted copy of Liberty Leading the People by Eugène Delacroix. A woman in a pale yellow gown and a red cap steps over a barricade, the French tricolor raised in one hand and a musket with a bayonet in the other. Around her a man in a top hat holds a rifle, a boy in a black cap grips a pistol in each hand, and a fighter in a blue coat crouches at her feet. Bodies lie across the paving stones in the foreground, and gun smoke fills the sky, with the towers of a city showing through it at the right.
A workshop painter reproduces it in oil on canvas, stroke by stroke, only after your order arrives, so each copy is made to order, ready in 2 to 4 weeks. A Fine Art Print takes 2 to 4 business days instead. Ten landscape sizes begin at 38 x 30 cm, the largest being 188 x 150 cm, and any order can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

The paintings are on display in my Blizzard Museum, and I'll be ordering more within the year!
The prices are also excellent for the work offered! (For a 1.20m x 90cm canvas, in France, a painter charges over €1,500....)
