Japanese Pagoda Under the Moon
Artwork description
A multi-tiered Japanese pagoda stands in blue-gray moonlight, its curved roofs hung with small bells and its tall finial reaching toward a pale full moon. A woman in a kimono crosses the wet plaza at its base under a red umbrella, with a second small figure and a pale umbrella farther off. At lower left a lit lantern house glows yellow beside a dark tree, and a column of Japanese characters with a red seal stands in the upper right corner, as on a woodblock sheet.
The woodblock look of Ukiyo-e carries over to this hand-painted oil on canvas, made to order by a workshop painter in 2 to 4 weeks. There are ten sizes, from 30 x 45 cm up to 150 x 224 cm. The same image is also sold as a Fine Art Print, made in 2 to 4 business days. Rolled, stretched or framed is chosen on the product page.

The paintings are on display in my Blizzard Museum, and I'll be ordering more within the year!
The prices are also excellent for the work offered! (For a 1.20m x 90cm canvas, in France, a painter charges over €1,500....)
