大理石の神殿の中央で、白い衣をまとった2人の巫女が青銅の火鉢の炎を守っています。ドームの中央が開かれて、淡い空が覗く空間で、1人は長い点火棒を炎に掲げ、もう1人は黄金の器のそばにひざまずいています。煙は花崗岩の柱や壁の松明の間を抜けて渦巻きながら立ち上ります。光は肌や布に柔らかく金色に当たり、神殿の灰色の石の影に冷たく沈み込み、静謐で厳かな雰囲気を醸し出しています。ドレープの布のひだや大理石に映る火の光を丁寧に描き込むことで、ドラマチックではなく、静かな儀式のひとときを表現しています。古代の信心と秩序を感じさせるこの作品は、書斎や廊下、読書コーナーなど、古典的なモチーフが似合う空間にぴったりです。一点一点手塗りで仕上げた油絵で、ご希望のサイズでお届けします。他の古代ローマを描いた作品と並べるのもおすすめです。<\/p>
