二隻の龍の船首を持つ軍船が外海で衝突し、青銅の鎧をまとった戦士たちが、掲げた槍と丸盾を持って舷側を越えて飛びかかる。海は深いティール色で、白い波頭が立ち、両方の船体を揺らす。淡い帆が頭上で膨らみ、飛沫の彼方にはさらに多くの船が待ち構える。光は低く暖かく甲冑に当たり、冷たく落ち着かない水を背景に兜や盾の縁を照らし出し、戦闘のまっただ中にある緊張感を画面全体に与えている。パレットは黄土色のブロンズと荒れ模様の青緑の間を移ろい、遠い装飾的なものではなく、切迫した物理的な印象だ。キャンバスに手描きの油彩で、お選びのサイズで制作いたします。書斎や書庫、あるいは大胆な歴史や神話を中心にした部屋にぴったりで、一枚の劇的なキャンバスが壁の主役となり、空間全体の雰囲気を決定づけます。
