この絵画では、運河が旧市街を縫って流れ、その静かな水面には岸辺に並ぶ黄色と緑のファサードが映り込んでいる。秋の木が上にアーチ状に伸び、その葉は赤、オレンジ、緑が混ざり合い、通りと水面の両方に色を散りばめている。シクロが水辺の道を進み、小さな人影が、日常の雑然とした物がぶら下がるバルコニーの下で日常を送っている。水面に映る反射は構図に二重の豊かさを与え、すべての色が繰り返され、下の水で柔らかく揺らめいている。光は暖かく均一で、慌ただしい午後ではなく、穏やかな午後を示唆している。全体の効果は活気に満ちつつも平和で、混沌とせずに色彩豊かである。この絵画は、カラフルで重層的な街並みが部屋の核となるリビングルームやダイニングスペースに適している。キャンバスに油彩で手描きされ、お好みのサイズでオーダーメイドとなる。<\/p>
