古い装甲艦が動かずに停泊している。重い鎖は静止した灰色の海に垂れ、厚い霧が立ちこめている。一本の煙突が霧の中に伸び、輪郭はかすんでほとんど見えなくなるほどだ。船体には風化した鋼板や錆の跡が長年の航海を物語っている。灰色と淡い青のほぼ単色のパレットは、scene 全体に幽霊船のような静けさを与えている。乗組員の姿はなく、水面に動きもない。ただ老朽化した船が静かに待つのみだ。雰囲気は瞑想的で、少し不気味でもある。アクションというよりは挽歌であり、見れば見るほど味わい深い。油彩で手描きされ、ご希望のサイズでオーダーメイド。このムーディーな海景画は、書斎や廊下、オフィスの壁に最適で、海軍史や雰囲気のある海洋画のコレクターに好まれる。<\/p>
