二機の暗い双発機が広大で冷たい青空を横切り、その流線型のシルエットが漂う雲に対してくっきりと浮かび上がる。遠くには小さな機体が散らばっている。はるか下方では、オレンジと灰色の霞が炎上する都市を示し、煙が地平線にゆっくりと立ち上る。構図は、前景の機体を大きく支配的に保ちながら、下方の破壊は柔らかく遠くに置くことで、機械自体が場面の緊張を担っている。冷たい青と鋼鉄のグレーが空を支配し、その下で燃える地平線の暖かな輝きが、高度と結果の間に静かだが不安なコントラストを生み出している。これは、戦時航空の冷徹な精度と、それが残す混沌との対比を描いた研究である。キャンバスに手描きの油彩で、必要なサイズでオーダーメイド。書斎やオフィス、航空史を専門とするコレクターの壁に最適です。<\/p>
