古代の馬、牛、鹿が、粗い石灰岩の壁を疾走し、旧石器時代の洞窟壁画の土のような黄土色、錆びた赤、煤のような黒で描かれています。岩肌は不均一で豊かな質感を持ち、その膨らみと窪みが構図に取り込まれ、動物たちが岩そのものから現れ出るかのように見えます。暖かな松明の光は、暗い陰になった窪みに対する顔料の輝きによって示唆され、描かれた生き物たちに、揺らめく、ほとんど生きているかのような存在感を与えています。重なり合う輪郭線と層をなす人物像は、同じ古代の表面に繰り返し描かれたイメージの時間の蓄積感を生み出しています。雰囲気は原始的で静まり返り、ギャラリーの壁というよりも神聖な部屋に近いものです。テクスチャはここではイメージと同じくらい重要で、石のあらゆるひび割れや膨らみが丁寧に描かれています。手描きの油彩キャンバスとして、お好みのサイズでオーダーメイドされ、書斎、図書室、またはアートの最も古い物語に惹かれるリビングルームの壁に、深い歴史と素朴で土の雰囲気をもたらします。<\/p>
