エル・ジェムの偉大な楕円形の円形闘技場は、太陽に照らされた平らな平原からそびえ立ち、黄金色の砂岩のアーチの層が、雲がたなびく広い空に向かって積み重なっている。外壁の一部は何世紀にもわたって崩れ落ち、内部の通路のハニカム構造を露出させ、この構造がかつてどれほど巨大であったかを明らかにしている。基部近くの小さな人物がスケール感を与え、アリーナの壁の高さに圧倒されている。暖かい黄土色と砂色のトーンがパレットを支配し、アーチの涼しい青い影と、淡くかすんだ地平線によって和らげられている。構成は、壮大さと静かな放棄の両方を捉えており、轟く群衆のために建てられたモニュメントが、今は開けた空の下に単独で立っている。この絵画は、ワイドフォーマットで、リビングルーム、オフィス、または書斎の壁に、歴史とスケールの強い感覚をもたらす。キャンバスに手描きの油彩で、お選びのサイズでオーダーメイド。<\/p>
