太陽に照らされた石灰岩の円柱が長い列をなして立ち、そのはちみつ色の石は何世紀もの風と光で風化している。ドーリア式の列柱は緩やかな丘を下って青い海へと向かい、銀色のオリーブの木と乾いた黄金色の草に囲まれている。前景の石の間に落ちた柱頭は、神殿の古さを静かに物語っている。一方、遠くの霞は丘を淡い青の層に溶かしている。上空の空は澄んだ雲ひとつない青で、暖かい午後の光が円柱の溝を横切り、溝を深め、古代の舗道に長い影を落としている。全体的な感覚は、穏やかで、記念碑的で、時代を超越しており、失われた文明の端に立っているかのようである。この場面は、入り口、リビングルーム、書斎の広い壁に適しており、その古典的な力強さと円柱の地平線が広がる。キャンバスに油彩で手描きされ、お選びのサイズでオーダーメイドされる。<\/p>
