二機のプロペラ戦闘機が、渦巻く嵐雲の中を切り裂く。暗いシルエットが、灰色と白のうねる雲と、ところどころ射す陽光に照らされてくっきりと浮かび上がる。構図は戦闘シーンと比べて静かで、空そのものの巨大さに焦点を当てており、航空機は周囲のそびえる雲に対して小さく、決然と見える。頭上には雲の切れ間から光が差し込み、爆発や銃撃はなく、天候と機械が緊張感のある雰囲気の中で対峙している。パレットは全体的にクールで、灰色と青、光が差し込む場所にかすかな暖かさがあるだけだ。これは戦時中のイメージというよりも、ムードとスケールの研究として読める。手描きの油彩キャンバスで、お好みのサイズでオーダーメイド。航空史のムーディーな解釈が合う書斎、オフィス、廊下に適しています。<\/p>
