Hoch in einer nebligen Bergkette liegt ein kleines vietnamesisches Dorf still unter gedämpftem, weichem Licht, seine Dächer durch den Dunst kaum sichtbar. Öl auf Leinwand erlaubt es dem Künstler, die fernen Gipfel und Dächer mit dünnen, geschichteten Strichen zu verwischen und die Farbpalette durchgehend zurückhaltend und ruhig zu halten.
