Dieses Gemälde zeigt eine ländliche Seeszene in Vietnam, gebadet in der Wärme einer untergehenden Sonne. Das Öl auf Leinwand ist in weichen, ineinander übergehenden Strichen verarbeitet, die das Licht sanft über das Wasser und die umgebende Landschaft breiten, wobei die Farbe allmählich und nicht scharf wechselt.
