يجثم طوقان توكو على فرع مغطى بالطحلب، ومنقاره الضخم يتوهج بخطوط برتقالية وصفراء وسوداء ضد ريش داكن لامع وحلق أبيض صافٍ. خلفه، خلفية استوائية كثيفة من أوراق مونستيرا وسراخس وأوركيد متدلية باللون الوردي الناعم تخلق طبقات من الأخضر تؤطر الطائر دون منافسته. ضوء مرقط يتسلل عبر المظلة، ملتقطاً لمعان الريش وانحناءة المنقار، بينما تظل الأوراق العميقة باردة ومظللة. التكوين قريب وحميم، ويضع تعبير الطوقان الهادئ المتيقظ في مركز الاهتمام. أخضر غني وألوان حمضية دافئة ولمسة من الوردي الاستوائي تمنح القطعة طاقة دون شعور بالازدحام. مرسومة يدوياً بالزيت على قماش ومصنوعة حسب الطلب بالحجم الذي تختاره، تناسب هذه اللوحة زاوية قراءة أو مطبخًا أو أي جدار مستعد للفتة جريئة من اللون، وتعمل بشكل جيد بمفردها أو مقترنة بمشاهد طبيعية أخرى.
