تعيد هذه القطعة تصوّر مشهد من «تينتين والأذن المكسورة»، وتلتقط روح المغامرة والغموض في اللحظة المرسومة. عُولج الزيت بخطوط جريئة ومساحات لونية واثقة تستدعي الوضوح الجرافيكي للألواح الأصلية، بينما تمنح ضربات الفرشاة المرئية الصورة حضوراً ملموساً مصنوعاً يدوياً. عند تعليقها في غرفة مكتبة أو غرفة قراءة، تبثّ طاقة مرحة حنونة إلى الماضي تجذب هواة الجمع ومحبي القصص المصورة. كما تناسب بهو استقبال أو غرفة انتظار حيث يتوقف الزائر ليتأمل عن قرب.
