يقف تاج محل مضيئاً أمام سماء الغسق الموشحة بوردي ناعم وأصفر مشمشي وأزرق باهت، تتوهج قبته الرخامية البيضاء ومآذنه في الضوء الخافت. تمتد بركة عاكسة طويلة نحو المشاهد، تضاعف النصب في ماء ساكن تحده أشجار سرو داكنة تقف كحراس على طول المسار. ضربات الفرشاة ناعمة وجوية، تلتقط نعومة ضباب المساء حول القبة مع إبقاء التفاصيل المعمارية للأقواس والمآذن واضحة وحادة. الأزرق البارد في السماء العليا يفسح المجال لألوان وردية دافئة قرب الأفق، مما يمنح المشهد كله سكوناً رومانسياً هادئاً. مرسوم يدوياً بالزيت على قماش ويصنع حسب الطلب بالحجم الذي تختاره، تجلب هذه القطعة سكينة أشهر معالم الهند إلى مدخل أو غرفة معيشة أو غرفة نوم، خاصة تلك التي تحتاج إلى نقطة محورية واحدة مذهلة وخالدة.
