ترقد سفينة قراصنة خشبية راسية وساكنة في بحيرة هادئة داكنة كالمرآة، هيكلها مغطى بالطحالب وتجاريدها مخنوقة بالكروم المتدلية والمظلة الكثيفة للغابة. تخترق أشعة ضوء خضراء ذهبية الأوراق من فوق، ماسرةً ببغاء قرمزي جاثم على مقدم السفينة ولامعةً على الماء الهادئ أسفلها. الألوان خضراء طحلبية عميقة تتخللها أشعة شمس دافئة، مما يمنح المشهد سكونًا مقدسًا وليس تهديدًا. الألواح المتشققة والحبال المتشابكة والنباتات الزاحفة مرسومة بتفاصيل دقيقة، فتبدو السفينة وكأنها مكان استعادته الطبيعة بصبر. مرسومة يدويًا بالزيت على قماش وتُنفَّذ حسب المقاس الذي تختاره، تضيف مغامرة وجوًا إلى غرفة القراءة أو المكتبة أو ركن القراءة، وتناسب من ينجذب إلى حكايات القراصنة أو التاريخ البحري أو مشاهد الغابة الخصبة.
