ينكشف شارع هادئ تصطف عليه الفوانيس المتوهجة بينما يحل الغسق على المشهد. يُبنى الطلاء الزيتي في طبقات ناعمة، حيث يُرسم كل فانوس بلمسات صغيرة متعمدة من الضوء تبرز بلطف مقابل المحيط المتزايد الظلمة. تبقى ضربات الفرشاة طوال الوقت فضفاضة وجوية، مما يسمح للشارع بالتراجع بهدوء نحو الغسق بدلاً من أن يكون محددًا بشكل حاد. في المنزل، تضيف نغمة دافئة تأملية، تستحضر نزهة غير متعجلة في ضوء الغسق.
