تؤطر هذه اللوحة الزيتية اليدوية مشهدًا كلاسيكيًا لسانتوريني من خلال قوس حجري أبيض، وبابه الأزرق العميق ومصاريعه تفتح على منظر خلاب للكالديرا أدناه. تنعّم أصيص فخاري وعناقيد الزهور الحمراء المقدمة، بينما تنحني الجدران المبيضة بالشمس بلطف نحو قرى الجرف البعيدة وقارب صغير يعبر البحر الياقوتي الساكن. يلعب الضوء على كل سطح، يلتقط نسيج الجص والحجر بينما يعمق الظلال تحت القوس إلى رمادي بنفسجي بارد. يجذب التكوين العين من التفاصيل المعمارية الحميمة إلى المساحة المفتوحة الواسعة، ملتقطًا سحر الجزر اليونانية وحجمها في مشهد واحد. مرسومة يدويًا بالزيت على قماش وتُصنع حسب الطلب بالحجم الذي تختاره، تجلب إحساسًا بالهروب المشمس إلى أي غرفة. تناسب غرفة المعيشة أو المكتب أو غرفة النوم ذات الطابع الساحلي حيث تقدم الرؤية إلى بحر إيجه هروبًا هادئًا مستمرًا.
