سفينة شراعية وحيدة تصارع أمواجًا جبلية تحت سماء ليلية متقلبة، حيث يشق برق متعرج الظلام في الأفق. يميل الهيكل ضد الأمواج بينما تلتقط الأشرعة البيضاء الشاحبة القليل من الضوء الهارب من السحب، بينما يتحول البحر بالأسفل من الأخضر الداكن إلى الأبيض الرغوي حيث تتكسر الأمواج. تظل الألوان منخفضة وكئيبة – رمادي فحمي، وأخضر عميق، ورذاذ أبيض فضي – مما يبني جوًا من القوة الخام والشجاعة الهادئة في مواجهة العاصفة. هذه القطعة مرسومة يدويًا بالزيت على قماش وتُصنع حسب الطلب بالحجم الذي تختاره، لذا تبقى كل ضربة فرشاة وقمة موجة حادة في أي مقياس. تناسب دراسة أو مكتبًا منزليًا أو عرينًا حيث يحدد منظر بحري جريء ودرامي النغمة، وتعمل بشكل جيد أيضًا كقطعة مركزية لافتة فوق مدفأة أو ركن قراءة داكن يحتاج إلى جو ودراما.
