تصوّر لوحة الزيت على الكانفاس هذه فتاة ريفية ساحرة برفقة الإوز، في مشهد متجذر في الحياة الرعوية. يعمل الفنان على السطح بضربات فرشاة معبرة وذات ملمس تمنح التكوين جودة حكايات ما قبل النوم، بينما تمنح معالجة الضوء المشهد الريفي توهجاً ناعماً وحنيناً. عند إحضارها إلى المنزل، تقدم القطعة جواً ترحيبياً يلمسه جمال رعوي وحنين لطيف.
