تتوهج مدينة أوساكا ليلاً، مع لافتاتها النيونية التي تنعكس وتنتشر عبر النهر أدناه. تضع طبقات الزيت على القماش ضربات مشرقة ومشبعة فوق درجات داكنة للحفاظ على التباين بين اللافتات المضيئة والليل حولها، مع ضربات فرشاة فضفاضة تسمح للأضواء بالتمويه والوميض. يحمل المشهد طاقة نابضة بحنين خفيف، تجمع بين الدهشة والاضطراب الرومانسي. في الغرفة، يضيف بريقاً حضرياً نابضاً بالحياة ولمسة من الحنين.
