ملاك مشع بجناحين أبيضين واسعين متوهجين يجلس عند فم قبر منحوت في الصخر، ويده تمتد بلطف نحو امرأة راكعة بالأسفل ترتدي ثيابًا زرقاء وحمراء داكنة. يداها مشبوكتان في مزيج من الرهبة والريبة، ووجهها متجه لأعلى نحو النور المنبعث من حضور الملاك. حجارة القبر الخشنة والصخور المحيطة مرسومة بظلال رمادية باردة، مما يجعل توهج الملاك ودفء ثياب المرأة يبرزان بشكل أكثر حدّة. التكوين يعكس سكونًا مقدسًا خاشعًا، لحظة ما بعد الكشف عن المعجزة. مرسومة يدويًا بالزيت على قماش وتصنع حسب الطلب بالحجم الذي تختاره، تضيف هذه اللوحة خشوعًا هادئًا ونورًا إلى كنيسة أو غرفة صلاة أو أي جدار مخصص للإيمان.
