شجرة مورقة واحدة، مظلتها مبنية بضربات سميكة محكمة من الأخضر والذهبي، تظلل منزلاً أبيض صغيراً بسقف من القرميد الأحمر على تلة عشبية. قارب تجديف داكن يرتاح على الشاطئ أدناه بينما سماء زرقاء واسعة، ممسوحة بخطوط شاحبة من الضوء، تنفتح خلف الفروع. تظل اللوحة مشرقة ودافئة، خضراء مشمسة مقابل جدران بيضاء نظيفة وسقف بلون الصدأ، مع الماء المرئي فقط عند حافة الحقل. إنها تمتلك الشعور البسيط المستقر لمنزل ريفي هادئ في ضوء بعد الظهر الجيد، كل شيء في راحة. مرسومة يدوياً بالزيت على القماش وتُصنع حسب الطلب بالحجم الذي تختاره، تجلب دفئاً مشمساً سهلاً إلى مطبخ أو ممر أو ركن قراءة حيث يكون المشهد الريفي الهادئ مناسباً تماماً.
