مدرجات أرز متدرجة تنحني عبر وادٍ ضبابي، وحقولها الذهبية الناضجة تخطو نحو مجموعة من الأسطح الصغيرة المختبئة بين الأشجار الخضراء. خيوط من الضباب الأبيض ترتفع من الأرض المنخفضة وتنجرف ضد جبال زرقاء رمادية بعيدة، مما يخفف الخط حيث تلتقي المدرجات بالتلال. تتحرك الألوان من المغرة الدافئة والذهبي في المقدمة إلى الأخضر البارد والأزرق الضبابي في الخلف، مما يعطي المشهد كله مسافة وجواً حقيقيين. إنه منظر طبيعي هادئ عملي، تشكلته الأيادي عبر الأجيال، ملتقط هنا في الضوء الناعم لصباح ضبابي. مرسومة يدوياً بالزيت على القماش وتُصنع حسب الطلب بالحجم الذي تختاره، تجلب هذه القطعة منظراً هادئاً أرضياً للريف إلى غرفة معيشة أو مكتب أو ممر يحتاج نسمة هواء منعش.
