ترتفع أبراج نحيلة فوق بلدة شتوية مرسومة بالزيت، مع أسطحها وأزقتها المرسومة بضربات فرشاة دقيقة وملمسية. تمنح الدرجات الدافئة تحت الألوان الباردة القماش توهجاً مفعماً بالحياة، مما يلطف المشهد الشتوي إلى شيء مرحب بدلاً من كونه قاسياً. تُبنى الألوان في طبقات، فيبدو الضوء وكأنه يتجمع على الأبراج والشوارع الهادئة. إنها لوحة تحول الجدار إلى ملاذ صغير وسلام.
