تحلّق قاذفة طوربيد منخفضة فوق المياه المفتوحة، ويقطع ظلها الداكن بحرًا هائجًا بينما تتلقى بارجة حربية ضربة مباشرة في وسطها، فيتصاعد لهب ورذاذ أبيض من هيكلها الرمادي. تظهر ومضات نيران مضادة للطائرات في السماء، مرسومة دخانًا عبر مياه زرقاء عميقة وزبد أبيض متناثر. الألوان باردة ودرامية، أزرق فولاذي ورمادي تقطعها البرتقالية الساخنة للانفجار، مما يعطي التكوين توترًا وحركة. كل برشام في جسم الطائرة وكل برج مدفع على السفينة مرسوم بتفاصيل دقيقة ووثائقية، يلتقط لحظة حاسمة واحدة من معركة جوية بحرية. مرسومة يدويًا بالزيت على قماش وتُنفَّذ حسب المقاس الذي تختاره، تناسب مكتبًا أو دراسة أو غرفة، وهي قطعة محورية لمن يهتم بالتاريخ العسكري أو فن الطيران أو فن الحرب البحرية.
