تنساب سفن شراعية شاهقة عبر المحيط المفتوح في هذا المشهد البحري المهيب، مرسومة بالزيت على القماش بضربات فرشاة واثقة وواسعة تلتقط حركة الأشرعة وتموّج الأمواج. تُبنى الإضاءة والألوان في طبقات عبر السماء والماء، فتمنح التكوين إحساساً بالجلال. عند عرضها في غرفة المعيشة أو المكتب، تبث في المنزل روح المغامرة والحنين إلى الماضي، ويمكن أن تكون نقطة ارتكاز لافتة في بيئة الأعمال.
