تتجمع هنا مشاهد من الحياة الريفية اليومية، تستدعي عالماً بسيطاً خالياً من العجلة بعيداً عن إيقاع حياة المدينة. رُسمت بالزيت، ويُظهر القماش ضربات فرشاة ذات ملمس وضوءاً ناعماً يمنح الريف دفئاً لطيفاً ينبض بالحياة. الأثر العام إحساس بالسكينة والراحة الهادئة. وفي غرفة الجلوس، يمنح المنزل وإيقاعه اليومي إحساساً هادئاً راسخاً.
