تُظهر هذه اللوحة أطفالاً غارقين في مشهد صيفي من اللعب والفرح المشترك، تجمعهم رفقة عفوية. رُسمت بالزيت على القماش بلمسات ناعمة دافئة تدمج اللون والضوء في وهج حنيني بدل التفاصيل الحادة. تحمل الألوان رخاوة لطيفة توحي بالذاكرة أكثر من التوثيق، وكأن كل ضربة فرشاة تنزلق نحو التالية كلون ظهيرة نصف متذكّرة. عند تعليقها في المنزل، تبعث دفئاً بهيجاً وحنوناً يلطّف الغرفة ويدعو إلى التمهل.
