شابة تقف أمام كوخ من القش، بشرتها مغطاة بصبغة مغرة دافئة وشعرها مصفف في ضفائر سميكة تعلوها غطاء رأس جلدي. طبقات من القلائد المعدنية الضخمة والمجوهرات الخرزية تستقر على كتفيها العاريتين، تلتقط ضوء النهار الناعم الذي يبرز كل ملمس من الجلد الأحمر الطيني إلى الألياف المنسوجة. نظرتها مباشرة وهادئة، تقابل المشاهد برباطة جأش هادئة على خلفية خضراء ضبابية. الألوان ترابية بالكامل، صدئ ونحاسي ومغرة داكنة، مما يعطي اللوحة بأكملها توهجًا دافئًا. مرسومة يدويًا بالزيت على قماش وقابلة للتنفيذ بالحجم الذي تختاره، تجلب هذه اللوحة حضورًا لافتًا وألوانًا غنية إلى غرفة المعيشة أو المدخل أو جدار المعرض. تبرز بشكل جيد كقطعة مستقلة وبجانب أعمال بورتريه أخرى.
