منظر واسع بأفق منخفض يفتح على أرض رطبة كثيفة بأوراق الزنبق وزهور اللوتس، وأزهارها البيضاء والوردية الفاتحة متناثرة عبر بحيرة ساكنة تلتقط ضوءًا ذهبيًا دافئًا بالقرب من الأفق. قصب وأعشاب تحيط بالمياه في المقدمة، بينما يقف خط أخضر وذهبي ناعم من الأشجار بعيدًا في المسافة تحت سماء شاحبة. المزاج غير مستعجل ومترامي، أقرب إلى فجر هادئ أو أواخر بعد الظهر منه إلى منتصف النهار، مع توهج على الماء يقوم بمعظم العمل لتدفئة لوحة خضراء طبيعية بخلاف ذلك. لا يوجد هدف بؤري واحد؛ بدلاً من ذلك تتجول العين عبر الأوراق والزهور كما تفعل على بحيرة حقيقية. نظرًا لصيغته الواسعة وأفقه الهادئ، يناسب جدار غرفة معيشة كبيرًا أو مكتبًا أو فوق أريكة طويلة حيث تريد منظرًا بانوراميًا مريحًا. مرسومة يدويًا بالزيت على قماش، مصنوعة حسب الطلب بمقاسك المختار.
