ضابط قائد يرتدي معطفًا أخضر مزينًا بالذهب يمتطي حصانًا بنيًا يرفع قوائمه الأمامية، ويمد ذراعه ليوجه خط المشاة وسط فوضى المعركة. يتصاعد الدخان عبر أفق محترق خلفه بينما يتقدم الجنود بالزي الأخضر الداكن مع البنادق والحراب، وتخترق تشكيلاتهم الضباب المتناثر ونيران المدافع. تتكون الألوان من البني الدافئ والأخضر الباهت وتوهج البرتقالي للهب البعيد، مما يمنح المشهد كله إلحاحًا وحرارة. الحركة تجري في كل شخصية، من حافر الحصان المرفوع إلى الرتب المسيرة أدناه، مما يجعل هذه اللوحة مليئة بالزخم والقيادة. تناسب دراسة أو مكتبًا أو أي جدار يُرحب بالتاريخ العسكري والصور الشخصية التاريخية. مرسومة يدويًا بالزيت على القماش وحسب الطلب بالحجم الذي تختاره، تحوّل لحظة من حرب القرن الثامن عشر إلى قطعة مركزية دائمة وغنية بالتفاصيل.
